About these updates
JSA has commenced transitioning the Occupation profiles to the Occupation Standard Classification of Australia (OSCA). OSCA based profiles are now available using data from the 2021 Census. More data, including from the Labour Force Survey, will be added to the profiles over time.
Occupation data presented on an ANZSCO basis will not be updated again. The ANZSCO‑based occupation pages and download files will remain available but will no longer receive updates.
The ABS has temporarily suspended publishing Labour Force Survey data while they make changes to the way they conduct the survey. Industry data on this site will be updated when the ABS recommences publishing Labour Force Survey outputs. When occupation data recommences it will be based on the new Occupation Standard Classification of Australia (OSCA) basis.

The next update to the Occupation profiles is planned for November 2026.

Next Update:

Industry: updates will resume when the ABS recommences publishing Labour Force Survey data in late-2026.
